How 3 of My Favorite Bands Influenced My Sound

No, you don’t need to study the Beatles, Nirvana, or Michael Jackson to be a legitimate songwriter.
That being said, I do think that it can be really helpful to analyze where your sound comes from.
Or, if you don’t have a sound yet, do a little investigation of your favorite artists to figure out what parts of their sound you may want to adapt into your own.
So, to help you out with your own analysis, I’m breaking down how 3 artists impacted my own sound, what I took from each, and how it sort of blends together to create my bread-and-butter sound as an artist.
